This is actually the third solar powered watch I've ever owned (previous ones were Casio, and that was many years ago...), and I must say things have come a long way! The Eco-Drive solar panel is integrated in the back plate, and as a result you wouldn't even know it's there. Charging and endurance in the dark have also improved very much, with an hour of office light, or a few minutes of outdoor light on even an overcast day enough to keep this watch going. Apart from all the Eco-Drive related technology, the Skyhawk pilot watches combine a sleek and stylish exterior with lots of nifty, gadget-like functionality such as very quick switching of timezones. I even calculated square roots with the slide rule bevel! The Black Eagle has a great feel to it; heavy and durable, this watch is built to last, while the black and white colour scheme endow it with great looks as well. Cherry on the cake: the dials light up blue at night!

I have had many Citizen watches and this watch is faultless. A real eye catcher and awsome value for what you get. Looks great on any occasion.
