The competition for the remaining Tissot watches in Nascar is heating up, with Jimmie Johnson claiming one this weekend
Jimmie Johnson is the latest Nascar driver to add to the long list of names under the Pit Road Precision Award's coveted title after a great performance in the latest round of the Sprint Cup.
The racer, who competed in the TUMS Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway on October 25th, spent the smallest amount of time in the pit lane in his No 48 Lowe's Chevrolet.
Staying with his crew for only 329.445 seconds and finishing second on the lead lap, Jimmie Johnson claimed a Tissot watch and a cheque for $5,000 (£3,055) after the event.
The race itself was won by Denny Hamlin, a young starter which many sources believe will be one of the shining stars of the racing championship next year.
Familiar face Juan Pablo Montoya, who made his name in the Formula One championship several years ago, continued to add to previous impressive performances by finishing third.
